On my first night, after a long journey, the battery of the electronic door lock ran out and I was locked out of my room at around 1:30 a.m. When I called the reception for help, nobody answered at first, and I had to wait in the corridor for about an hour in the middle of the night. The next day, I explained what had happened and the staff told me they would discuss it with the manager, but I never heard back from them, and I did not receive any apology. A simple maintenance issue turned into a very stressful experience, and the lack of follow-up was disappointing.

Sahilin bir arka sokağında olması ve istediğim an sahil yoluna çıkabilmek inanılmaz güzel hissettirdi. Otel Old Nice'e 10 dk, Place Massena meydanına 7-8 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Ayrıca havaalanına giden Tramvay L2 ye binmek için Jean Medecin durağına da yine 10 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Otelin arka sokağı çok canlı ve birçok restoran, bar mevcut.

Hiç personel olmamasını sevmedim. Otele giriş yapmadan önce ekstra havlu veya çarşaf istersem bunların ekstra ücrete tabi olacağını söylediler ancak ilk girişte havlu olması gerekirken odamda hiç havlu yoktu. Mail ile bildirdim ilk girdiğim anda ve havlu bırakılmasını istedim ancak kaldığım 3 gece boyunca bana havlu getirilmedi. Oda aslında dar değildi ancak valizimi açacak bir alan yoktu, mecburen tüm valizimi boşaltıp eşyalarımı dolaba yerleştirdim.
