The owners have kept the historic features so the bedrooms are reached by individual staircases with small shared patios which are also the dining areas, which have decorative stone and floral (live) features. These areas are sometimes covered sometimes not. (Difficult to describe but interesting). The Staff and owners were attentive, pleasant and very helpful. They will book tours, taxis etc. A guarded, secure parking area is across the narrow, one way street . (15 mtrs). The hotel is in the centre of historic Querétaro.

Breakfast was lovely! I appreciated the fresh fruit in particular. Gorgeous historical building. We left our luggage and went to Guanajuato for a few nights and they kindly moved it into our room before we returned.

Since information about this paid option isn't always provided upfront, I recommend double-checking whether the meal is included or requires payment when you order—even if you booked a room that supposedly includes breakfast to prevent trouble. That said, the paid breakfast is delicious, so I definitely recommend trying it. This is a wonderful hotel with a charming character that harmonizes with the historic district's scenery. However, I would not recommend it to those expecting a modern hotel with state-of-the-art facilities. In the room where I stayed, I found many small ants around the sink and towels. Although insect-repellent bands are provided in the room, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is particularly bothered by insects.

Multiple roof leaks during raining season blocking bathroom passway and also inside bathroom. Suggest fixing.
