Some complaints about strong incense and mosquitoes; overall seems clean.
Staff were very kind and helpful; specific mention of excellent interactions with staff.
Mention that location is not very convenient with limited nearby amenities.
Rooms are described as stunning, comfortable, and private.
Nice amenities but mentioned some old bikes and expensive spa area access.
Some commenters found the food expensive compared to other resorts.
While food was mentioned as delicious, some found it expensive and less good than other resorts.
General sentiment is very positive; guests appreciated many aspects of their stay.
I was not happy or comfortable at this hotel. I clumsy even be there since I was full of mosquitos since the morning. All day everywhere. Even inside the pool. I don’t recommend this hotel also to get to the hotel there’s no street and is very bad neighborhood

The pool was not clean. The management was very poor. We left one day after booking four days with no refunds. We are not allowed to have guest. Even though we had family member who was visiting from other hotels The pool was not clean it was it ready for a guest. The best thing about this resort was yoga class in the morning. It is nothing like it advertises in the pictures.

Friendly staff.
Friendly staff.
The property was beautiful and the drinks were delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. They made my stay wonderful and really looked out for me. They made my birthday really special and I'm really thankful for them. Upon leaving they gave me a cute bracelet.

They don't have a late-night menu. They bikes they had were very old. The rooms don't have TVs. You had to pay an additional fee for spa area access. The mini bar was expensive and the pretzels were stale. They have a 711 around the corner if you want a late-night snack. Also the food was kinda expensive and not as good as the other resorts I stayed at.
I booked thinking I was going to be offered transportation and it was not like that After booking I needed a refund in less than 10 minutes and they were not willing to give me a refund when I was stranded in tulum airport with no transportation. You don’t do that to people

Overall, there are likely not enough words to describe our stay at Muare Tulum. If you’re looking for a peaceful, tranquil stay, you will find it here. The rooms were stunning, from the design to the comfort level. It was similar to having your own private oasis, and we enjoyed whenever we returned from an excursion. Enjoyed the onsite restaurant, and had numerous meals there. The included breakfast was perfect, and there were additional options available for those with a more picky palate. Overall, the staff were above par. Special shoutout to Mauricio at the bar, who I enjoyed interacting with daily and his recommendations for places to visit in the Tulum. All staff were great and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Would certainly stay here again in any future trips. Only commentary, and this probably applies to Tulum in general, is the high rate of taxi’s and shuttle options. The hotel was helpful in securing a private transfer from the airport which, as a first timer, was appreciated. Taxis charge fixed rates to most Tulum sites, so for myself, I likely will look to rent a car next time to ensure I have more options to explore as necessary. Again, not a reflection of the hotel in any way shape or form, but a general comment to navigating around Tulum.

Rooms were quiet and private, with a small heated pool. The main pools were the perfect temperature, and the cold plunge and hot tub were amazing. Staff were great, and the whole place had just the right amount of luxury.

The incense was a bit strong after a few days. It would have been nice to have both an indoor and outdoor shower. Mosquitos can be around, so bringing coils for the private pool area is a good idea. The music was mostly EDM, which just isn’t our thing.
