Multiple guests reported dirty beaches, uncollected sargazo, old/unclean towels and garden areas; some rooms were described as very humid with ventilation problems.
Mixed reports: several guests described rude or indifferent reception and staff, denied service, and poor organization; however bartenders and some personnel received praise for friendly, attentive service.
Consistently praised sea views, beachfront and overall location; beach described as very pretty and hotel noted for great seaside vistas (though occasional sargazo was mentioned).
Rooms received mixed comments: some praised luxurious rooms, but many noted musty/humid odors, old fixtures, awkward bathtubs and evidence of needed renovations and noise from nearby works.
Large resort with numerous restaurants, extensive pools, shows and a highly praised cigar bar; however elevators and some equipment feel old and certain extras (bed reservations) require payment.
Divergent views: some consider it good value for an all-inclusive, while others complain about extra charges for loungers, restaurant access and overall poor maintenance making it not worth the price.
Food described as average by some and problematic by others: buffets criticized as poor, certain à la carte venues hard to reserve, while some bars/bartenders provided excellent service.
Overall sentiment trends negative: several guests reported disappointing or even catastrophic experiences and would not return, though a minority had relaxing or excellent stays.
The place looks very nice from the outside, but the truth is that the facilities lack maintenance, the staff is always angry or upset about something, this is my second time at this hotel and this time my experience was very different from the first time

They have a kids' club but the staff is very unwilling, terrible service, with the heat they make the kids run around in the sun, they force you to go every hour or else you get fined, we were at the hotel for an event and had to keep going out, we explained our situation to the managers and asked if they could message us if we needed to go and not force us to go even though we were right there. The managers always responded poorly
It's a good location, the hotel is big and allows you to move around different areas, very good employee service

Many restaurants closed, the room, although booked with an ocean view, had a partial view because the palm trees blocked most of it, they are cutting back a lot on snacks, no more guacamole, the area that offered ceviche and cocktails is gone, the section that had chicken tenders now only offers fries, nachos, and hot dogs, they isolated several sections for access only to higher categories, the elevator constantly malfunctioning, and when it's not, it takes forever to arrive, my dad uses a cane and therefore couldn't use the stairs to go up or down to the fourth floor where we were, so he had to wait for the only elevator to arrive
