When we arrived, we were informed that they were working on some renovations. We were not alone, another couple just left. We were moved to another room. We were not addressed in a friendly manner by the female manager. Upon check-out, it was different. It's a pity she couldn't be more professional from the start. It turned out that Hilton had just taken over, maybe that's why it was a bit rough.
The marina was on the premises, and we went fishing.

The A/C in the room was not cooling sufficiently. The ice machine was not working.
Everything at the hotel had to be charged to a credit card; we couldn't use cash for anything as they didn't accept cash. Also, at check-in, I was informed of a hidden fee of $325.00 for incidentals, which was never disclosed to me when booking the room. Additionally, I was denied room cleaning service by the housekeeper, as I was not on the list for service. I went to the front desk, spoke to the manager, and was told that was not true. They immediately sent someone to service our room. I received a coupon for 2 free breakfasts at the restaurant attached to the hotel, that's all. The hotel had changed names before my arrival. It was a private place before being bought out by Hilton. Considering they are now a Hilton, they have a lot to learn about hospitality.
