Several guests report poor pool maintenance and 'dense'/unclean pool water; cleanliness around pools is a notable negative.
Mixed but leaning negative: guests mention lack of attention for anniversary requests, no help with luggage, unresponsive reservation chat and poor frontline assistance.
Positive comments about views, beach and general setting; some access issues (taxi/Uber restrictions) but overall location and scenery are strengths.
Guests praise the room comfort and hotel infrastructure; rooms and pools are highlighted as positives in multiple reviews.
Variety of venues available is noted positively, but practical amenities are lacking (no umbrellas/shade, limited bar/club hours, missing basic items like toothbrush when requested).
Mixed perception: some enjoyed past experiences but current closures/extra charges (e.g., for missed restaurant reservations) and service gaps reduce perceived value.
Several reports of poor buffet quality and bad cocktails, though a few guests praised specific meals; overall F&B sentiment is negative.
Overall mixed but with meaningful positives (family atmosphere, infrastructure, views) tempered by service, F&B and pool cleanliness issues; guests feel the experience has declined compared to earlier visits.
The place looks very nice from the outside, but the truth is that the facilities lack maintenance, the staff is always angry or upset about something, this is my second time at this hotel and this time my experience was very different from the first time

They have a kids' club but the staff are very unwilling, terrible service, with the heat they make the kids run around in the sun, they force you to go every hour or else you get fined, we were at the hotel for an event and had to keep going out all the time, we explained our situation to the supervisors and asked if they could message us if we needed to go and not insist when we were right there. The supervisors always responded poorly
It's a good location, the hotel is big and allows you to move between spaces, very good employee attention

Many restaurants closed, the room, although purchased with an ocean view, had a partial view because the palm trees covered most of it, they are skimping on the snacks, no more guacamole, the area that offered ceviche and cocktails is gone, the area that had chicken tenders now only has fries, nachos, and hot dogs, they isolated several sections for access only to higher categories, the elevator constantly failing, and when it's not, it takes forever to arrive, my dad uses a cane and therefore couldn't go up or down the stairs to the fourth floor where we were, so he had to wait for the only elevator to come
