The service is absolutely terrible and the staff are incredibly rude. They genuinely don’t seem to want to do anything to help. It took us an entire hour to get coffee in the morning, even after asking four different waiters and eventually complaining to the F&B manager, who also seemed completely uninterested until I got angry. One of our rooms wasn’t even cleaned, and when we called room service, we were told, “You have to ask for us to clean it.” Seriously? This is the Grand Hyatt shouldn’t the room be cleaned without the guest having to specifically ask for it? The housekeeping standards were also awful. The bedding was dirty, and towels that we had deliberately left on the floor to be collected for laundry were simply returned to us as “clean.” Absolutely unacceptable. To be fair, the hotel manager did seem concerned and genuinely tried to help when we raised our complaints. Unfortunately, the staff and overall service completely let the hotel down. We stayed for 7 days, and on every single day there was some sort of issue or complaint. That says everything. For the price you pay, there are much better hotels you can stay at. It is simply not worth ruining your holiday by staying somewhere where you have to constantly complain just to receive basic service.
