On arrival, beds in one room were not made, plus the mattress protector had a red stain. When I requested beds to be made at reception, they advised me that the linen is at the bedside and that I can make it myself. They were very polite, but I have never stayed at a hotel/caravan park where I'm expected to make the beds. In saying that, because of the stain, they did kindly agree to make the bed. Poor supplies, i.e., half a roll of toilet paper and 1 soap for 3 people provided. I had to ask for more at reception, which they then kindly provided.

We think we were in a budget family ensuite cabin, not the deluxe that we booked. It was OK as we were away all day.

The customer service and help from Mandy to help us improve our room problems on arrival. The facilities were clean and well-maintained as well as the grounds. The friendly maintenance man coming to try and help our issues with hot water promptly.

The rude customer service from the other receptionist on our stay. Our room was small, uncomfortable, run down, and smaller than expected for a couple. The hot water was limited for two people to shower consecutively. The rooms had no security locks on the windows. It was noisy being close to the road and other tenants. Limited crockery and supplies for our three-night stay. Asking for anything was like asking for an arm to be cut off by most of the unfriendly staff. Customer service definitely needs addressing.

We were very disappointed with the condition of the bunk beds during our stay. We booked accommodation for four adults. While the double bed was clean and made, the bunk-bed sheets were simply left folded on top of the beds with the quilt covers, and we were expected to make the beds ourselves. We were told that the bunk beds are not made by staff due to workplace health and safety concerns. However, this raises the question of customer safety — particularly the risk of guests falling or injuring their back while having to make a top bunk themselves. What was even more disappointing was that after making the lower bunk, my husband checked the top bunk and found it dirty, with soil/dirt and a random broken bracelet left on the mattress. This clearly suggests the top bunk had not been properly checked or cleaned before our arrival. For accommodation charging guests to stay, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, preparation, and consideration for guest safety. This was not the experience we expected and should be addressed to prevent it happening to future guests.
