Food was great. But the location they placed us at was horrible right by where all the dump trucks were bringing the seaweed. Don’t stay in the Sunshine Tower by the beach. They will put you there to make money off that tower because no one wants to stay there because it’s so close to smell of the seaweed at the beach. Horrific smell you can’t even sit outside.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with our experience at the Moon Palace in the Sunshine Tower. I had specifically requested a good view and a convenient location for both rooms we had reserved. Unfortunately, we were placed in the worst possible spot in the resort. As we were being taken to our room, we noticed a horrible smell that was caused by the seaweed on the ocean. We then realized that we were placed in one of the oldest towers, located by the jungle, near a dirty filthy beach filled with seaweed with an unpleasant odor. We didn’t even have a garden view; instead, we were surrounded by the jungle and the horrible smell of seaweed. The opposite side of the tower had a garden view, but the whole tower was very close to the horrible smell. We couldn’t even go outside on the balcony or use the hammock because of the strong odor. The dump trucks were picking up all the seaweed from the ocean and taking it near my room, which is why it smelled so bad in our location. The elevators were also inaccessible because they were malfunctioning. The inside of both rooms were very dirty. I had to clean them myself because the staff neglected to maintain them. There was trash under things that they never moved or cleaned under, like the ice box and coffee maker, and the decorations on the restroom counter. There was also dirt in the corners, and dirt under the bed. The sinks in both rooms weren’t functioning properly. They weren’t draining as they should, and the knob on one faucet was loose. They even put a comforter with holes on the bed even after I complained to the front desk about the outside smell and the cleanliness of the room. The conditioner bottle in one room wasn’t working. The curtains on the balcony window haven’t been changed as they were very dirty. The bartender in the Sunshine lobby named Omar was disrespectful. He raised his voice at me and made gestures with his hands and told me to calm down and not rush him.

LA PISCINA ESTÁ CON DETERIOROS, SE LEVANTA EL RECUBRIMIENTO VENENCIANO. MI COCHE FUE DAÑADO EN EL LUGAR DONDE LO ESTACIONARON, DEBIDO A QUE HICIERON LABORES DE PODA Y ME LLENARON EL COCHE DE YERBA CORTADA E INSECTOS Y EL HOTEL NO SE QUISO HACER RESPONSABLE DE ESO. ME TUVE QUE RETIRAR DEL HOTEL CON EL COCHE EN ESE ESTADO DESPUES DE 2 HORAS INTENTANDO QUE EL HOTEL SE RESPONSABILIZARA.

The staff, manager and receptionist at Sunrise, and all the attendants at the stores both Nezuc and The Grand acted like if it was a burden to attend the customers making faces and rolling their eyes not professional and spa at The Grand they all acted like if they had no experience with customers living everyone figuring out what to do next bad experience with them.
El servicio y el personal es excelente, la comida cumple, la ubicación es buena, es un muy buen hotel para ir con niños.

La piscina es vieja, el veneciano se está desprendiendo, inclusive me corté el pie. El mar y la playa, aunque no es culpa del hotel y reconociendo las extenuantes labores de limpieza de su personal, es feo y de color café y apesta un poco.
